I've written a new book! Kind of!

It's a revised and expanded edition of my 2015 smash hit, Socialism... Seriously. But in many ways it's a new book. The original was written before Bernie, before COVID, back when climate change was talked about in the future tense, fascism in the past, and socialism in the hypothetical. There are new chapters on indigenous liberation, climate anxiety, and COVID grief; new thoughts on revolution, religion, and radical history; and new jokes about everything. And there are pictures(!) by the wonderful Sanaa Khan, and a slick cover by Steve Leard.

This new book (screw it, I'm calling it a new book) is the hardest thing I've ever written. It took me a year to figure out if I could honestly make a case for a hopeful future in the face of rising ocean levels and global fascism. I think I succeeded, and I hope you do too. The book comes out in January, but you can pre-order it right here.

Why pre-order now instead of just waiting until January? Because you're an impulsive pretend-adult who won't remember to get the book later. Because it may be banned under the next administration. Because I need you to buy the book before you hear that it's not very good.
